In this cooperative endeavor, Simpli joins forces with the students of the Health Design Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design to propel the user experience and interface of Teedo and its web-based Homebase to new heights. The goal is to ensure that every stakeholder enjoys an improved initial and continuous encounter with the Teedo tablet and its services.
In this initiative centred around Teedo, the focus lies on several key points. Firstly, a tailored experience is being crafted for personalized provisioning. Secondly, the project acknowledges the acceptance of technology among the elderly in relation to Teedo. It delves into their usage patterns, concentrating on how they interact with the Teedo devices.
The examination also encompasses the exploration of how elders employ the Teedo device once they've become familiar with it. By doing so, potential shortcomings and design failures related to Teedo are identified and addressed. Special attention is given to optimizing the screen and sound components of Teedo, accounting for the utilization of multiple sensors.
